From October, and with the European Commission’s financial support, the CNUE will begin setting up a new training programme for the Notaries of Europe. The “Europe for Notaries – Notaries for Europe” programme will run for two years, from 2018 to 2020. It will involve organising 21 seminars in 14 Member States, in partnership with the national notarial authorities. For 12 seminars, training will focus on family law and for nine seminars, on the fight against money laundering (AML). Information concerning the various seminars will be made available on the CNUE website (venues, dates, useful documents, etc.):

This programme responds to the European Commission’s wish to offer at least half of legal professionals in Europe the opportunity to follow European training at local, national or European level by 2020. Another objective is to ensure that all legal practitioners receive at least one week of EU law training during their careers.
