The European Notarial Network (ENN) has just reached an important new milestone: its work programme for 2015-2018 had been approved by the European Commission and co-funding will be granted for 2015 to support the implementation of its various activities.
This new development was at the centre of discussions during the meeting in Tallinn on 21 and 22 May 2015, upon the Estonian notariat’s invitation. The 22 ENN interlocutors, who form a network covering all the countries represented in the CNUE, discussed the new projects that would be developed in the coming months.
In particular, the ENN’s electronic platform will benefit from a major upgrade. This platform should, in the coming months, open progressively to European notaries, facilitating access to tools created in recent years. New functionalities are being developed with a view to accompanying notaries in implementing the European regulation on international successions, which will enter into force on 17 August 2015.
