Open Days Slovenia – Conference and information for the public

The Slovenian Chamber of Notaries organised a conference on “The Role of Notaries in Modern Society” at the National Council of the Republic of Slovenia. The speakers were as Ms Sonja Kralj, President of the Chamber of Notaries of Slovenia, Mag. Evelin Pristavec Tratar, Director-General of the Directorate for Justice Administration at the Ministry of Justice, Ms Vlasta Nussdorfer, Human Rights Ombundsman, Mr Jan Škoberne, President of the Committee on Justice at the National Assembly of Republic of Slovenia, Prof. Dr. Vesna Rijavec, Dean of the Law Faculty of the University of Maribor and Dr Jens Bormann, President of the Bundesnotarkammer.

On the afternoon of the same day, the Slovenian notariat had a stand in the central square of Ljubljana (Presernov trg) representing the European Day of Civil Justice /The Role of Notaries in Modern Society. This served as an introduction to civil law, demonstrating the accessibility of services to all citizens. Events were completed on 4 November 2016, which is the Slovenian Day of Justice. On that day, notaries opened their doors to the public.
