The CNUE held its last General Assembly of the year in Brussels on 1 December 2017. On this occasion, the Presidents of the European notariats elected Marius Kohler, a notary in Hamburg, as President of the CNUE for 2018. Mr Pierre-Luc Vogel, a notary in St-Malo, was elected incoming Vice-President.
In addition, the notariat of the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYROM) was officially accepted as a CNUE observer member. The Macedonian notariat was founded in 1998. A member of the UINL since 2001, it now has about 200 notaries. The President of the Macedonian Notariat, Mr Vasil Kuzmanoski, expressed his gratitude in joining the family of the European notariat and his willingness to take an active part in the CNUE’s work.
